Harmony for Hope began with one family, one diagnosis, and an overwhelming desire to give back to the people who helped them through the hardest chapter of their lives.
How It Started
A family's way of saying thank you.
When Noah was diagnosed, our world stopped. The road through treatment was long, frightening, and full of uncertainty — but we were never alone. The care team at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center showed up for us in ways we'll never be able to fully repay. They didn't just treat a patient. They cared for a person, and for a whole family.
When Noah came out the other side, we asked ourselves: what do we do with all of this gratitude? The answer came naturally. Music had always been at the center of our family. It was how we processed, how we celebrated, how we connected. So we decided to bring people together through music — and to channel that energy into something that could help the next family walking through those doors.
Music was how we got through it. Now it's how we give back.

Noah's Journey
The heart behind the festival.
In 2025, Noah was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. His diagnosis changed everything — but it also revealed something remarkable about the people around him. Neighbors, teachers, strangers, and friends showed up in ways that humbled and moved his entire family.
Noah's treatment at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center was grueling, but the care he received was extraordinary. Today, Noah is cancer free. And every year, the Harmony for Hope Festival is a celebration of that — and a commitment to making sure other families have access to the same quality of care.
Our Mission

Harmony for Hope exists to bring people together through live music and shared experience — and to direct the energy of that community toward funding cancer research and supporting patients and families at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center.
